Smiley
(July 2006 Dun Quarter Pony Colt)

We haven't had this sweet dun colt for long, but we really like everything we've seen from him... So much so, in fact, that we intend to geld him and keep him to see if he'll work out as Waylon's riding horse! Going by his dam's size we expect Smiley to mature 13.2 to 14 hands high, which should be just the right size for Waylon.

Smiley has the temperament to be a great kid horse, and the build and athleticism to do anything Waylon might ask him to do. Smiley's dam is a gorgeous dun AQHA/NFQHA mare named Ms Sugar King Cutter, owned by Reynolds Ranch, who has been breeding quality horses for over 20 years. Better known as Twink, Smiley's dam is a gorgeous young mare that has a wonderful pedigree including many great cutting and performance horses, and Smiley looks like he's going to definitely take after her.

Smiley and Waylon are getting along wonderfully so far, and if everything goes well it looks like they'll make a terrific team. More information will be added after we've had time to get to know this great colt better!
