Starlight

Black tobiano mini
stallion x Miracle
Miracle
finally foaled a gorgeous little dark bay or liver
colt whose only white marking is a small star.
Miracle is a wonderful mother, especially considering
the fact that this is her first foal. She snuck
through foal watch and he was already on his feet
when Vickie found him!

Star is
a very smart little colt who is learning quickly. His
first lesson at leading went well and he had no
problem learning to give his hooves and allow himself
to be petted all over. This gorgeous little guy is
going to make a wonderful pet or children's pony!

Miracle

(Vickie visiting with Miracle, May 1st, 2005, just
before she was bought back.)
Miracle is a
beautiful dark chestnut Section B-sized mini mare
that was born on our old property. She was
hand-raised by us in a family environment until she
was sold last spring because we wanted to breed
larger ponies. The man who purchased her from us
turned her out with a large herd to be a broodmare,
and she ran with that herd until early May, when he
decided to get out of the pony business. We purchased
Miracle back because we wanted to be sure she has an
excellent home; the rest of his herd was sold at
auction.

(Miracle at about
one month old with Jacie.)
The next two
photos were taken in early May of 2005, just after we
bought her back. Miracle is very heavy bred in these
photos and in need of a bit of TLC because she had
been out on pasture for the last year with minimal
care. After she has had some time to recover from a
year of neglect, we're very sure that Miracle will
look quite a lot better. She was an exceptionally
pretty young filly when we sold her, and will surely
be a beautiful mare again once she's not wormy!

Miracle had her
first foal on May 16, 2005. Her colt, named Star, was
sired by a black tobiano mini stallion, and Miracle
has done a wonderful job with him. She managed to
sneak through foalwatch and have her colt with
absolutely no assistance... He was already on his
feet when Vickie found him!
